Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021!
I have difficulty finding words strong enough or words to even accurately describe 2020. We have all had challenges we never thought we would see in our lifetimes. We can talk about COVID infecting millions and killing hundreds of thousands of people. People lost their jobs, insurance, homes, brothers, sisters, children, parents, grandparents.
We've had to stay away from those we love in order to keep them and ourselves safe. Massive social injustice and targeting of our black friends and family. I can't imagine how I would feel knowing my son or husband or sister or parent could not safely navigate in this world.
It's 2021 people! Time for change!
Social distancing and wearing masks have been a challenge because even with all our differences as humans, we do love to connect. Our connections of community and helping each other feeds our souls. I completely feel our humanness is supported by our innate want to connect and help each other.
Here at climbOn we are deeply grateful for our connection with you, our customers, our community and each other.
We have been blessed to be able to keep our business open since we are considered an "essential business." We make hand sanitizer and soap to help against this COVID invader.
We deeply care when we make products for you knowing that if we can make even a tiny bit of ease or bring a bit of joy to your life by using the products and inhaling their aromatherapy, we have done something good.
Let us say GOODBYE to 2020. I will even add a good riddance to this statement.
We have learned many lessons the hard way this year. We are also deeply grateful for the connections we have made and maintained throughout this "challenging year."
Hello, Bonjour, Howdy, to 2021.
We deserve better times. We deserve good health. We deserve being able to visit and love each other without a mask or fear of getting sick. We deserve to be able to walk through our streets, stay out at night without being afraid of being targeted, harassed or even shot.
Let's pray these vaccinations work and we will be on our way to better health by mid-year. Let's pray change for the good IS on the way!
We all must do our part to help each no matter what the situation, since we are all from the same source and part of one another...no matter how much some may not want to believe this.
